About Chicago

We are Chiphiles!
We love the city of Chicago! Our activities are centered in it, around it, for it. Our programs focus almost exclusively on the city and its well being. We do it through support of the arts and arts education. See our Programs page for more information.

Now, we all know that big cities can have problems and Chicago is no different. Any responsible citizen’s response, be they from a city or elsewhere, is to study, construct, and support solutions. These days, sadly, there are many who, mired in enmity and partisanship, are instead dedicated to finding and demonizing an “other,” sometimes a city, sometimes Chicago. Such vituperative trolls who may have wandered onto this site should move on.

Pistocelli Services is concerned with finding and supporting those arts organizations in Chicago which are dedicated to creating beauty, humanity, and understanding in the city’s many neighborhoods.
